THE DRU HILL #TELLME FAN CONTEST
Are you Dru Hill's #1 fan? What would you do for the chance to talk to us one-on-one and ask those questions you've always wanted answered? Well, here's your opportunity to tell us why you deserve the title. We appreciate all of the love and support you've given to us over the last 20 years, and to say thank you, we want to give you a shot at winning a special "all-access pass" like no other fan has had before. We're teaming up with The Source Magazine to give you the most exclusive interview of our careers-- one completely piloted by you! See information below for details on how to enter.
To submit your entry, simply write or record your story and include why you think you should be named Dru HIll's #1 fan. Then, include the hashtag "#TellMeChallenge" and tag our official Facebook page, @DruHill4Real. The contest is open to all of our Facebook followers, over the age of 18, before the deadline, December 9, 2016 at 11:59 PM EST.
Eligible entries consist of the following information:
Full name, age and location
Justification paragraph - limited to 900 characters, including spaces
Photo - If clear photo is not included in your Facebook profile
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. All federal, state, local, and municipal laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
The #TellMeChallenge begins on November 21, 2016 at 12:00AM ET and ends on December 9, 2016 at 11:59 EST. Entries that are submitted before or after the contest period will he disqualified.
Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address for the duration of the contest period, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All material submitted by any other method than by Facebook becomes the property of Dru Hill, LLC and may not be acknowledged or returned.
The contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia and countries abroad, who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry*. Employees of Dru Hill, LLC and other companies associated with the promotion of the contest, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and promotion agencies as well as immediate family and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Submissions must be made through the official Dru Hill Facebook page.
*An adult must submit contest entries on behalf of entrants under the age of 18.
Note: We strongly suggest submitters make sure that they are able to receive Facebook messages from users who are not included in their network, in order to ensure proper notification in case they are chosen as a winner.
Dru Hill will review all entries and make a decision by Monday, December 12, 2016. Winners will be notified immediately. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity and quality content of story.
For any finalists whose entries were submitted by parents/guardians, Dru Hill will seek parental consent for participation in the contest. Parents must respond with consent within three days of notification or the entry will be disqualified.
The top-ranked eligible selection will be submitted to The Source and the winner will be promptly scheduled for their interview. Dru Hill reserves the right to refuse to answer any question they deem inappropriate at the time of the interview. Dru Hill also reserves the right to select the next-ranked entry name, if the top-selected name is rejected or deemed ineligible to perform the interview.
The Grand Prize winner will get the chance to either attend a selected concert to conduct their interview or schedule the interview via Skype. (Transportation not included) Runners-up will see their names, photos, and submitted stories posted on the Dru Hill website in addition to receiving exclusive Dru Hill 20th Anniversary merchandise.
